The Full Story
10 Scents is a Bombay, India-based company that makes unique, artisanal candles with both traditional and non-traditional scents sold nowhere else in the country. Our name comes from the fact that we started with 10 different scents. Every few months, we add/swap out our candles varieties, adding new classic and experimental ones that we've perfected.

We use environmentally-friendly manufacturing processes so you can enjoy non-toxic scents as they fill your room while knowing that the candles you give as gifts will cause no damage to the air, water, or soil. Looking for a candle with that oh-so-familiar smell? We've got you covered. Looking for something deliciously random? Don't worry, we won't tell anyone about the crazy smells you love.
Candle Repair
All of us have candles that for one reason or another stop working. In addition to offering our own candles, we will repair any candle that you have that you'd like fixed even if it's not one of ours. Most candle repair work is Rs. 300 per candle plus pick-up and delivery but some jobs are a little more or less depending on a few factors. If you tell us more about what needs fixing in the form below as well as where you're located, we'll get back to you right away with what we can do and an estimate for the work. Candle Care

Keep your candle free of debris and dust when burning.

Never light a candle close to curtains, table cloths, books, or paper. Nothing with a half meter of the candle.

To avoid tunneling (where a small pool of wax burns rather than all of the way) be sure that the first time you light your candle, the wax melts the whole pool of wax on top.

If after that tunneling is still apparent, proceed to burn in 3-4 increments until candle self-corrects.

Never leave a burning candle unattended or lit while sleeping. If you are going to leave the room or go to bed, be sure to extinguish all candles first.

Never touch or move a burning candle. Never move a candle container when the wax is liquified.

Don’t burn a candle all the way down. For safety measures, stop burning a candle when there is ¼ inch of wax left in the vessel.

If burning multiple candles, place each candle at least three inches apart from one another. This is to ensure they don’t melt one another, or create their own drafts.

Extinguish a candle if the flame becomes too high or flickers repeatedly. Before re-lighting, let the candle cool, trim the wick, and check for unwanted drafts.

Use extra caution when burning candles during a power outage. Battery-powered lights like flashlights are much safer sources of light during a power failure.

Keep candles out of the reach of children and pets. Do not place lit candles where they can be knocked over by children, pets or anyone else.
